The query editions enable the user to evaluate all data from the DB system without help of a DB expert easy and comfortable.
This is of particular benefit to areas such as internal and external reporting, controlling and marketing as well as market and opinion research, since complex DB applications can be run fast and easily without the need of a DB expert’s assistance.
The ComfortSQL query editions are easy and comfortable to use, because the unique graphical user interface offers always a hierarchical view of the tables with the corresponding table fields. Thus, the constant overview and easy access to all tables with the corresponding table fields from the perspective of a main table of the DB system is guaranteed.
Create DB-queries easy and fast by yourself
This revolutionary approach matches throughout the Visual or way of thinking the user DB systems, even though - technically - no hierarchy have relational data models. By mouse clicks, it alternates between the tables and filters the desired table columns in the filter box intuitive until the final query, or individual report is completed. The tables, table columns, and the filter box and the processed graphically display of the evaluation are always shown on the GUI. Thus, one always has track on his query and can change at any time easily (no Excel macros or acting more).
The queries can be saved for the future, thus you saved the rebuild of the request for regular reports, because ComfortSQL works always with current data. You need only call the saved query and the new report is already finished. Our enterprise- and premium query Edition additionally offer the possibility to create a "virtual data model" and to save outside the DB system. Thus, they can so arrange the tables and table-column range in the user interface or rename, how you consider it your activity right.
All query-editions are equipped also with a calculation box.. Thus calculations can be performed simply by mouse clicks and text entry. This calculation fields and if then-otherwise criteria fields are intuitive to handle, allow any operation and can be stored for the future also outside the DB system. |
